First I must send all of my prayers and thoughts to everyone in the country of Haiti, as well as all of the people that are family members around the world. This event, though tragic, also helps all of us realize that life is short and you don't know what can happen the next second. I for one thought about all of my loved ones the moment of the tragic news, as well as saying a prayer for all of the people that were affected.
I hate to admit it, but tragic events like this wake us up in realizing that life is fragile and that all of our problems that we 'dramatizes' are really all small and meaningless problems. We all believe that 'we have it bad' but most of us are very well off. I am pleased of all of the outpouring of love, hope, donations, and sense of humanity that has occurred during this tragedy.
As my mothers original goal with her idea to combine light and sound therapy to help animals achieve the possibility to relieve aches and pains using there own natural recovery systems was on this same concept of 'giving' back to nature and humanity. As the 'humans' were using the machines on the animals and seeing great results, we started using the devices on ourselves, and in the process hearing testimonials of reduced pain, aches, and stress. It was my mother's way of giving, instead of receiving. Here we are 18 years later with our situation of massive health care problems, foreclosure problems, financial problems, and a lack of responsibility as a whole. I believe that we have to look at what is going on in Haiti, and see ourselves in pictures that we see on CNN, FOX, Twitter, etc. We must also think about any of our loved ones here that are suffering with pain, stress, and a lack of options, and think outside of the box. http://lightsoundtherapy.com is a possible way to help ourselves now, instead of the day when disaster can strike. We have to remind ourselves that whether it is an hour, a day, a month, or a year of living with a reduction of pain or stress can make a difference in a humans or animals life. http://lightsoundtechnology.com could possible be the answer for some.
I think that we need to start challenging ourselves with the lessons of what we are seeing on TV, that all we can do is life for today. I believe that you owe it to yourself to make sure that you are at least feeling well and as stress free as possible.http://lightfortherapy.com and lightsoundtherapy are some of the possible ways to help. Once again my prayers go out to all of the victims of Haiti.

Have to make a shift!!
Obviously, as we go through live, we are constantly tested about whether we are 'up to the test'. Constantly our brains are funneling wishful ideas, the 'wanting of control, safety, and approval'. Then as we look further into this statement, we realize that anytime that you 'want' something you never get it! The word 'want' is the most negative word in 'Websters' dictionary! It is defined as 'a state of extreme poverty; the state of needing something that is absent or unavailable. Anything that is lacking, necessary.' We spend most of our lives wanting things, yet the universe gives us exactly what we put out there; so we are constantly putting 'out there' the wanting of things/the lacking of things, and the universe responds by doing its job by giving us lack!! All we have to do is change our perception of our attitudes and change our thought process. By letting go of the things that we want and get into the 'having' of things, our lives could/should change for the better. Whether its health, money, wellness, etc. its all a choice.

Far infared Treatment for kidney diseases
Who do you know who might need hear about this? It's too late for my mom.....although she had cancer she died of kidney failure. The attending physician, a young man, said it was most likely caused by arthritis medication taken over the years which destroys kidney functionality. Back then at least, the arthritis doctors poo pooed this explanation. They were wrong and did a grave mis-service to the patients who trusted them by refusing to check out the new data. Our products are now endorsed for superior and safe pain relief associated with Lyme's Disease by the Lyme's Disease Coalition. Who do you know who can benefit from their information? Our products have recently been used to avoid surgical amputation by increasing circulation and destroying infections/bacteria (one a bone infection and other deep tissue infections and bed sores). The US Navy and military, NASA, and Univ of Wis Oncology Dept, among others, relies on light therapy for accelerated wound healing and pain relief in extreme situations. The Univ of Wis led by Dr Harry Whelan, has many studies ongoing including for macular degeneration, skin infections, diabetic ulcers, and many more. Their products made for medical (non-surgical) conditions obtained FDA approval by 'piggy-backing' on our products FDA approval; ie., the technical components are the same. (The price is very different!!)For our info go to www.lightsoundtechnology.com and www.lightfortherapy.com (has videos).Sincerely, Jana Sullivan
Infra Red Kidney Study
Far Infrared Treatment for Kidney Diseases
This study is ongoing at the time of this post, but not recruiting participants.
Sponsored by: GAAD Medical Research Institute Inc.
Information provided by: GAAD Medical Research Institute Inc.
ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT00599391
Purpose
Renal failure or kidney failure is a situation in which the kidneys fail to function adequately. It is divided into acute and chronic forms; either form may be due to a large number of other medical problems.
Condition Intervention Phase
Kidney Failure Radiation: Far Infrared Radiation (5µm to 20µm wavelength) Phase I
MedlinePlus related topics: Kidney Failure
U.S. FDA Resources
Study Type: Interventional
Study Design: Treatment, Non-Randomized, Open Label, Uncontrolled, Single Group Assignment, Efficacy Study
Official Title: Phase 1 Study to Examine the Use of Far Infrared Radiation for Renal Failure.
Further study details as provided by GAAD Medical Research Institute Inc.:
Primary Outcome Measures:
Kidney Function Improvement [ Time Frame: 1 year ] [ Designated as safety issue: No ]
Secondary Outcome Measures:
Causes of Mortality [ Time Frame: 1 year ] [ Designated as safety issue: No ]
Estimated Enrollment: 10
Study Start Date: February 2008
Estimated Study Completion Date: February 2009
Estimated Primary Completion Date: October 2008 (Final data collection date for primary outcome measure)
Arms Assigned Interventions
1
Far Infrared Radiation Radiation: Far Infrared Radiation (5µm to 20µm wavelength)
Far Infrared Radiation for 30 to 40 minutes per session.
Detailed Description:
There are many causes of chronic kidney disease. The most common cause is diabetes mellitus. Acute renal failure is a rapidly progressive loss of renal function, generally characterized by body fluids disturbances and electrolyte derangement.
It is believed that far infrared radiation of the central nervous system, the endocrine system and the kidneys will help in the management of renal failure and a possible cure.
